Living Resource Enterprises

The successor to the Commonweal Oceans Program, Living Resource Enterprises has both marine and terrestrial program interests. Staff is Burr Heneman, Commonweal co-founder and former Oceans Program Director. The program selects small-scale projects that leverage advances at the intersection of science, policy, and natural resource stewardship. The current focus—working with ranchers and decision makers—is development of a management plan to make the Point Reyes National Seashore ranches a model for agriculture on public lands.
